Made in 1962 for the first time, the APPLIQUE À VOLET PIVOTANT by Charlotte Perriand is still keeping its functional and architectural value. The pivoting screen in aluminium creates a different beam of light according to different needs. Originally made in different colours, today, the ""pivotant"" diffuser is painted light grey with epoxy resin. In april 2011, month of the re-edition of APPLIQUE À VOLET PIVOTANT wall lamp, the work of Charlotte Perriand will be exhibited at the Petit Palais at Musée des Beaux-Arts de la Ville de Paris.
