Ombra Tokyo Chair by Charlotte Perriand I CASSINA

The editor of Furniture Cassina republished in his « Maestri » collection some of the work of the famous collaborator of Le Corbusier, the designer Charlotte Perriand. Among the reissues, the lines of the chair are pure and Asian-inspired.

The « Ombra Tokyo » which was originally designed in Japan for the exhibition in 1954 – Summary of Arts (Le Corbusier, Fernand Léger, Charlotte Perriand). This chair is made from a single die-pressed piece of curved ply in natural or stained black oak.
